Designated hitter Kendrys Morales hit a homerun and had 2 RBI at Yankee
Stadium as the Northeast Neanderthals beat the Long Island Sound by the count
of 12 to 9.
 
In the 3rd inning Northeast scored 8 runs when they had 6 base hits.  The
biggest moment was provided by Anthony Rizzo who quieted the crowd when he
clubbed a three-run home run.  Long Island was out-hit by Northeast, 17 hits
to 13.  
 
The victory went to A.J. Griffin(3-0) who went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs. Gio
Gonzalez(3-1) was the losing pitcher.  He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and 2
walks in 2 innings.
