Ian Anderson struck out 14 batters as the Yonkers Cobras bested the San
Joaquin Wasps 10 to 5 at PNC Park.
 
Anderson(3-1) gave a fine effort for Yonkers.  He surrendered 8 hits and 4
walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.  Yonkers finished with 16 hits while San Joaquin
ended up with 8.  
 
Chris Martin got the save, his 1st.  The losing pitcher was Sixto
Sanchez(2-1).  His ERA ballooned from 3.86 to 7.02 as he allowed 8 runs in 5
innings.  
 
Peter Cossifos was asked about the performance of Anderson, 'He had his good
stuff out there tonight.  The fans really get into it when the strikeouts
start mounting up - and that seems to give him even more adrenalin.'
