In a game for the baseball purist, Erasmo Ramirez(2-1) and Chris Tillman(0-2)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Northeast Neanderthals finally emerged
victorious over Long Island Sound, 2 to 0.
Long Island was unable to climb back into it after Northeast went ahead for
good in the top of the 4th inning scoring a single run on 2 base hits.
Northeast finished with 9 hits while Long Island ended up with 4.
Ramirez was helped out by Kris Medlen who recorded his 3rd save.
