Rich Hill whitewashed Minnesota on 3 hits as the Northeast Neanderthals
defeated the Minnesota Northern Lights by the score of 9 to 0 at Target
Field.

Hill(2-0) was virtually untouchable.  He surrendered only 3 hits and no walks
in 9 innings.  Hill struckout 10 Minnesota batters lowering his ERA from 1.30
to 0.98.  Northeast totaled 13 hits on the night.

Jameson Taillon(1-1) was hit with the loss.  'Hill gave us exactly what we
needed tonight.' Chuck Carline said. 'When he threw the fastball he threw it
for strikes.  They were really fooled by his change.  Most of the time he had
them chasing it.'
