Center fielder Ender Inciarte left the yard and had 3 RBI as the Long Island
Sound defeated the Northeast Neanderthals by the score of 3 to 2 at Yankee
Stadium.
 
Long Island did all of it's offensive work in the 5th inning scoring 3 runners
on 3 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Inciarte who elicited a roar
from the hometown fans when he launched a three-run homer.  Long Island
finished with 7 hits while Northeast ended up with 4.  
 
The win went to Luis Severino(3-0) who allowed 2 runs in 8 innings. Kenley
Jansen preserved the game for Severino, recording his his 3rd save.  Rich
Hill(0-3) took the loss.  
 
With the win, Long Island continued their winning ways; their streak now
stands at 6 games and counting.
