David Wright smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Matt Harvey was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at Citi Field
where the Monroe Matadors beat the California Surf 3 to 1.
 
Wright helped send the fans home happy.  He clubbed a two-run home run in the
4th inning and hit a bases-empty home run in the 6th inning.  Monroe had 8
hits for the night.  
 
Harvey(2-3) lasted until the end allowing 1 run for the win. The losing
pitcher was Clayton Kershaw(1-5).  Despite losing, he struckout 11 Monroe
batters in 7 innings.
