The above three images show the Cockpit assembled to the right hand fuse shell.

For each of the above assemblies, after the basic cockpit green was applied, a dry brushing of CG lightened with yellow was performed. Then the details were painted on, mainly with very fine point Sharpie type (paint) markers. Next a gloss coat of "Future" was sprayed on. After that had dried an oil based wash of burnt umber and charcoal black was applied. After a 24 hour dry, the PE detail parts were applied. Finally, a Krylon "Matt" spray was done. And last some of the details were picked out again with the Markers.

Part 2 - Assembling the major components!

Assembled fuselage with primer.

Fuselage and wing assembled. Joint seem filled ready for sanding.

Wing assembly prior to joining with fuselage.

Exhausts and some PE parts that will be added later.

Bottom surface painted with "Neutral Gray".

Top surface painted with Tamiya "Dark Green XF-70". While this is a "Matt" finish it is showing too much luster and will be toned down later.

Canopy parts masked with Eduard yellow "Kubuki" precut pieces. Painted with Poly Scale Burnt Aluminum.

Canopy parts after removing masking. Not perfect, but my best canopy set so far!
