Comma usage in nouns of direct address.  When you are directly talking to someone and you are trying to get their attention, separate their name from the question with the use of commas.

Mr. Mulgrew, where on Earth did you go to college?

Where on Earth, Mr. Mulgrew, did you go to college?

Where on Earth did you go to college, Mr. Mulgrew?
